Benidorm streamlines the creation of a Local Police labour exchange to ensure quick coverage of vacancies for early retirements
Benidorm City Council aims to speed up the creation of a labour exchange for the Local Police to ensure quick coverage of possible vacancies that may occur in the workforce if the Central Government finally advances the early retirement age of the agents. The Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez, has indicated that it is an urgent matter since the new Law of Coordination of Local Police of the Valencian Community - approved this week and pending publication - suppresses the figure of the interns.
Martinez explained that the existence of this interim stock market would allow the coverage of these vacancies to be made "quickly and agilely", thus avoiding the decline of the workforce during the duration of the selective processes of new agents that may be convened. for the final adjudication of those places. Selective processes that can last for several months.
The head of Public Security has reported that "Human Resources has already been urged to transfer to the president of the Personnel Board the bases proposed by the Department and the Local Police Headquarters" for the creation of this labour exchange, "and the trade union centrals can study them, "they are soon addressed at the Negotiating Table and can be approved as soon as possible.
"It is essential not to lose a day," remarked Martínez.
About the process for the hiring of 20 new agents of the Local Police approved by the plenary session and authorized by the superior administrations, the councillor has announced that in the coming days the lists of admitted will be published.
