The film will be screened at Mal Pas Beach from 9:30 p.m. onwards, with free admission
Benidorm City Council’s Department of Culture is once again organising the ‘Cinema on the Beach’ series this summer. This year’s programme will begin next Friday, 7 August, at Mal Pas Beach, with free admission until capacity is reached.
The first screening will be held this Friday at 9:30 p.m. It will feature Pixar’s film Elio, which tells the story of Elio, an 11-year-old boy with a vivid imagination and an intense fascination with extraterrestrials. Struggling to fit in, he is suddenly transported into space and mistakenly identified as Earth’s galactic ambassador.
The second screening in the series will take place on Friday, 21 August, at the same location from 9:30 p.m. In this case, audiences will be able to watch CampeoneX, directed by Javier Fesser. The film follows the ‘Champions’ team as they leave basketball behind and accidentally enter the fascinating world of athletics with the help of a rookie coach. Between the demanding challenges of the new discipline and the coach’s surprising ability to attract all kinds of mishaps and disasters, everything ends up going wrong.
