The term of execution of the works is reduced by half and its cost by 18%
Benidorm will award the contract for the creation of the new Business Incubator
The Local Government Board will award on Tuesday the works of the new Municipal Vivero de Empresas-Espai Coworking Benidorm. This body will attend the proposal of the Contracting Committee, which met last Friday and ruled that the most advantageous offer is the one presented by MOA, which proposes a reduction of 18% on the bid price and reduces by two months the term of execution of the works.
The project proposes to convert several municipal dwellings -located in a building in Juan Fuster Zaragoza Street- into at least twelve work spaces and common areas, such as a meeting room. These facilities will be available to young entrepreneurs who start a business project in the city.
The Councilor for Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, has indicated that "with this business incubator we cover the needs transferred by the technicians of the Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) and we attend a proposal of the municipal group Ciudadanos (Cs) within the budget agreement, offering our young entrepreneurs a comfortable and adequate work space in which to start their business. "
After the reduction offered by the company, the term of execution of the work has been set at two months, so that the new facilities could come into operation later this year.
The work went out to tender for a price close to 88,000 euros and has been awarded for around 73,000 euros.
