Benidorm installs a new terminal of Labora in 'La Torreta' center
Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Employment directed by Mª Jesús Pinto, has installed a new terminal of the Valencian Employment and Training Service, Labora (former SERVEF), in the Social Center 'La Torreta' (6, Ciudad Real street). The computer system is the second in municipal dependencies, after the commissioning in 2013 in 'Llorca Linares' center.
The councilor for Employment has indicated that the service "facilitates access to citizens who do not have an Internet connection, or to those who, for other reasons, need to complete procedures in the employment portal of the Generalitat". The residents of Rincón de Loix who need it will no longer have to travel to the city center because from this terminal they can "manage appointments" with Labora, formalize procedures such as "consulting job offers, training courses or generating certificates through the DARDE "(Document of Registration and Renewal of the Demand for Employment).
The installation of the service has been possible thanks to the agreement signed by the City Council and the Generalitat on September 24. This afternoon, Pinto, along with the technical staff of her department and the director of the agency Labora de Benidorm, Blas Martínez, have verified the possibilities offered by the installed machinery, which is also adaptable in height, which facilitates its use by people with certain functional diversity.
