A large pink ribbon, symbol of the fight against breast cancer, presides today the facade of the Town Hall of Benidorm. After 10.00 hours, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Equality, Paquita Ripoll; the president of Anémona, María Botella; members of the corporation and the Self-Help Group have displayed a banner with the ribbon of the anniversary.
The placement of this ribbon is part of the program of activities designed by Anémona in collaboration with the municipal councils of Equality of several municipalities of the Marina Baixa to commemorate the International Day of Breast Cancer, which is celebrated on Thursday, October 19.
