Benidorm Tourism Fundation is present at the Vakantiebeurs Tourism Fair in Utrecht (The Netherlands) from 10 to 15 January at the "Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs". For the fourth consecutive year, Benidorm has its own counter in Turespaña space, in the area of the Valencian Community.
It is a "mixed" fair, aimed exclusively at professionals the first two days (Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 January) and open to the public the other days, until Sunday. In the edition of 2016 more than 117,000 people visited the fair, of whom about 18,000 were tourism professionals of more than 160 countries.
According to the provisional hotel occupancy data in Benidorm given by HOSBEC for 2016, Holland is the fourth country in importance with 2.8% of the market, 314,000 overnight stays and a growth of 3%
Benidorm attends this fair with the intention of publicizing its wide range of sports and complementary offer to the Dutch public and also plans to meet tour operators such as Thomas Cook, PR companies like Baltus Communications, bloggers and journalists in order to plan possible actions for 2017.
