Benidorm starts the Acceleration Plan for Gastronomic Tourism, aimed at professionals in the sector and tourist guides in Benidorm
Benidorm, February 25. Benidorm City Council launches the training sessions of the Acceleration Plan for Gastronomic Tourism. Thus, on Monday, February 28, the first appointment of a Specialization Course aimed at professionals in the Gastronomy sector and tourist guides in Benidorm begins.
The holding of these training sessions is part of the actions proposed in the Benidorm DTI + Safe Tourism Sustainability Plan. The objective of the 'Acceleration Plan for Gastronomic Tourism' is to diversify Benidorm's tourist offer and reinforce the tourism sustainability strategy of the destination and its business fabric. In this sense, Benidorm City Council works to attract visitors with greater purchasing power and quality.
Juan Castro, CEO of CastroConsulting and Viajar en Familia will be in charge of opening this Specialization Course, with the presentation entitled "Creation of gastronomic product for families, seniors and sports", where Innovation and specialization will be the main axes of this first session in which there are already 65 registered.
The course will be taught from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will take place every Monday (except holidays) until May 23. In total there are nine training sessions and 18 teaching hours that will contribute to the digitization process of local companies.
The mission of the Acceleration Plan is to help establishments develop actions that allow them to improve their management, communicate more effectively and sell more and better, as well as improve the use of tools to attract potential customers, carry out promotional actions, reformulation of the offer, new services and generating a demand for the Gastronomic Tourism product.
The sessions will take place at Invat•tur facilities and registrations, which are still open, must be formalized at:
