Benidorm Game is a gynkhama in WebApp support in which you can participate as an individual, family or group
Benidorm organizes a tourist game on Saturday with gamified itineraries to discover its historical heritage and gastronomy
The Departments of Tourism and Historical Heritage, together with the company JustGame, is launching next weekend a gamified family tourism project, 'Benidorm Game', consisting of a Gymkhana in WebApp support, with the aim that citizens and tourists of Benidorm can walk the streets of our town centre and discover curiosities about our historical heritage through play, as well as enjoy our gastronomy and share their experiences.
To participate, a starting point has been enabled, located in Plaça de la Senyoria, where the participant will find all the information necessary to carry out the activity at the stand. The user will access the WebApp from a link-QR code to start the game. You can choose an individual or family/group avatar that will be the identity of the participant or participants in the family or group in the game.
'Carmen' is the protagonist of the Gymkhana; a young teenager, very outgoing, who loves games. She is in Benidorm on holiday with her family and walking near Mal Pas Beach. She finds a brochure with information about the celebration of a gamified challenge through the streets of Benidorm and intrigued by it, she decides to visit the Old Town and the Downtown of the city in search of the prize. The participants must accompany her to overcome the challenges and achieve the objective.
The activity consists of ten tests or challenges, which can be overcome by answering a Quiz-type question, sending a photo/video or scanning a QR code while following the itinerary through the old town and centre of Benidorm. As challenges are overcome, the score increases in the medal section, until we complete all the tests and obtain the final prize consisting of a participation diploma and a souvenir of the experience at the JustGame stand.
The activity will be available on Saturday, February 26, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. And on Sunday 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The starting and ending point is at Plaza de la Senyoría.
It is an integrated activity in the collaboration system of the Red DTIcv
