Benidorm is organizing 2022 Holy Week
Jaime Jesús Pérez, Councilor for Culture and Youth, will be the town crier for the Holy Week Processions
Mayor Toni Pérez, together with the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, has held a meeting with the president of the Mayor Board of Brotherhoods of Benidorm, Estela Canales, accompanied by members of the board and brotherhood representatives.
The Board has worked to organize the Holy Week processions after two years of absence and pending rules and protocols to apply in the coming months.
At the meeting, the program of religious acts and processions to be held from April 10 to 17 by the six brotherhoods have been discussed. The Brotherhoods in the parishes of Benidorm are Brotherhood of El Perdón and La Buena Muerte (Almudena Parish), Sacramental Brotherhood La Santa Cena (Almudena Parish), Real Hermandad de Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza y de la Paz (Buen Pastor Parish), Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno (San Jaime and Santa Ana Parish),
Brotherhood of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores (Parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana) and the Brotherhood of La Oración de Jesús en el Huerto de Getsemaní.
In it, it has been confirmed that the 2022 Holy Week Proclamation will be carried out by the Councilor for Culture and Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez Esteban.
