Fundación Turismo Benidorm participates during this weekend and for the fourth consecutive year, at Mundo Abreu fair, the most important event of promotion and advance sale of Portugal, organized by the largest network of travel agencies in the country, Viajes Abreu, in Lisbon.
In the event, the main destinations and tourist companies, including Benidorm, will have an exhibition and a promotion space. Benidorm has its own space of 12m.
At Mundo Abreu there are just over 140,000 people, many of whom book and buy their summer holidays, attracted by the offers. After twelve editions, the number of attendance and sales has been increasing year after year, finding long queues to access the site.
Benidorm is going for another year thanks to the excellent sales results during the fair in 2016 and to publicize the new air connection between Lisbon and Alicante with the airline Tap de Portugal. To this end, it has the support of the airline and Turespaña in this new promotion strategy that aims to attract Portuguese tourists throughout the year and not only in the summer season.
