The overall budget for both actions amounts to just over 175,000 euros
Benidorm requests two grants to Alicante Provincial Council for hydraulic works on Emilio Romero and Manuel Catalán Chana Streets
Benidorm City Council will request two subsidies from Provincial Council of Alicante to undertake works in hydraulic matters in the streets, Periodista Emilio Romero and Alcalde Manuel Catalán Chana. This was agreed upon by the Local Government Board following proposals made by the Councilor for the Water Cycle, José Ramón González de Zárate.
The subsidies that will be requested from the Provincial Council are part of the call for the concession in the financial year 2023 of subsidies in favor of local entities of Alicante for the repair (Line A) and first establishment, reform, or major repair (Line B) of infrastructures water supply and sanitation that execute or have executed the same.
In the case of the work that will be carried out on Periodista Emilio Romero Street, it will be the renovation of the sewerage network, it has a budget of 53,349.83 euros and is requested under Line A for the repair of hydraulic infrastructures.
As for the work on Alcalde Manuel Catalán Chana Street, the budget for it amounts to 121,843.67 euros and will consist of the installation of the rainwater network. In this case, the subsidy falls under Line B relating to the first establishment of hydraulic supply and sanitation infrastructures.
