Benidorm renews its collaboration agreement with the local office of Spanish Red Cross
This morning in Benidorm City Council the renewal of the economic agreement of collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross has been signed to continue with the contribution to the development of social, welfare and rescue policy that this entity has been providing in the city.
Among the main actions being carried out by the Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross in Benidorm are preventive services, intervention in emergencies, social intervention in home help services, social care for people of extreme vulnerability and immigrants, education for health, programs for the prevention of child and youth violence, the promotion of school success or environmental monitoring functions.
The recruitment, training and monitoring of volunteering complete the objectives set out in this agreement signed today by the acting mayor Ana Pellicer and the president of the local committee of the Spanish Red Cross in Benidorm, Amparo Martínez.
In addition, among the actions included in these plans include preventive services such as an ambulance service with material endowment and personal lifeguard sufficient to cover sports, cultural or festive events and events organized by Benidorm City Council.
