‘Expande-T’, promoted by the Youth and Social Welfare areas, proposes mini-workshops on participatory dynamics for a month
Benidorm proposes a project for young people from 16 to 30 years old to develop their creative, social and playful abilities
The Departments of Youth and Social Welfare propose a project for young people from Benidorm between the ages of 16 and 30 to develop and experience their creative, social and playful abilities. To do this, the 'Expande-T' project, which also has the collaboration of other municipal departments, proposes a series of participatory dynamics mini-workshops for a month.
As explained by the mayors of Youth and Social Welfare, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Ángela Llorca, "with this project the aim is for the young participants to explore their abilities and collaborate with each other, thus promoting and strengthening group work". During the duration of the project, the participants will exercise strategies for the development of social and communication skills; they will experience creative capacity through the arts, sports or new technologies; they will proactively socialize and enjoy free time; associationism will be encouraged; and will develop skills for personal emancipation.
‘Expande-T’ will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 20 to October 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in various municipal spaces. During this time, the young people will participate in workshops on public speaking, theatre, plastic arts, social networks and new technologies, world dances, social skills and musical expression.
