366 third- and fourth-grade primary school students from Benidorm attended the performance of "La gota viajera" (The Traveling Drop) today, performed by Talleralia company in Benidorm City Hall Auditorium.

The show was organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with Hidraqua, the drinking water and sewage service concessionaire, to mark the events in Benidorm celebrating International Water Day which is commemorated worldwide on March 22.

The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, the concessionaire's manager, Ciriaco Clemente and students from Puig Campana Primary School, Leonor Canalejas Primary School, Serra d'Aitana Primary School, Bautista Lledó Primary School, El Murtal Primary School, and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores School, attended the two performances.

Maite Moreno emphasized that "The Traveling Drop" aims to "show schoolchildren the natural water cycle and promote respect for the environment." In the performance, the actors "interact" with the students to help them discover "in a fun way" the journey and the importance of the liquid element "for life and for our planet."
