Benidorm Pride warms up to attract more than 20,000 people to the city
Benidorm Pride is gearing up to start a new festive edition in a few days to promote the LGBTIQ+ community, in which more than 20,000 people are expected in the city. This was reported by the Councilor for Events, Jesús Carrobles, who together with Santos Torres, one of the organizers, announced some of the details of the event, which closes the European calendar of Pride festivities.
The “Pride” will take place from September 4 to 10, with seven days in which different themed parties will take place, numerous events in the more than 40 'gay-friendly' venues scattered throughout the town center, and the great Parade on Saturday afternoon and in which the participation of "more than twenty floats, American heads, and vintage cars and motorcycles" is planned. As in previous editions, the Parade will depart at 5:00 p.m. from Rincón de Loix and will travel along Paseo de Levante and a section of Mediterráneo Avenue until reaching Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera, where the main festival of the event will take place. Carrobles highlighted that "Benidorm Pride is one of the leading events in our city, which attracts a large national and international audience and brings a touch of color to our streets."
