Benidorm performs cleaning and improvement works in the most visited areas for the start of the summer season

Benidorm ejecuta trabajos de adecentamiento y mejora de las zonas más visitadas de cara al inicio de la temporada estival

Benidorm City Council is performing cleaning works and improving the image of the most emblematic and visited areas in the city given the imminent arrival of the summer season. These are small works in public spaces that require simple actions but contribute to improving the general appearance of the place.

Thus, the Councilor for Urban Scene, Francis Muñoz, has pointed out that "the city is preparing for the summer by improving the most visited areas such as the Castell and its surroundings or the balustrade, which require some maintenance work."

Similarly, work is also being carried out in Elche Park, such as the painting of the planters and transit areas, as well as those near the children's playground. Francis Muñoz has indicated that it is also planned to "reach Mirador de la Música, located on Paseo de Tamarindos, where work will also be carried out to improve urban decoration and conservation by municipal technical services."

In addition to these actions, the municipal brigade is also removing graffiti, especially in the underpasses of various locations to leave these spaces in the best possible condition. Likewise, new benches have been placed on Adolfo Suárez and Juan Fuster Zaragoza avenues "and others have been replaced, at the request of neighbours, that was deteriorated because of time." In total, around twenty benches according to the mayor.

All these works to improve the urban scene will end at the end of June.
