Benidorm once again hosts the National Meeting of “Police Drones 2019”
A tent will host the exhibition of robotic devices and in Heliactive the demos of equipment, flights and systems will be made
The National Police Drones Encounter returns to Benidorm, a city where the Local Police pioneered the incorporation of these teams into police action.
Next week, on the 20th and 21st, the City Hall of Acts, the Plaza de Sus Majestades los Reyes de España and the Heliactive facilities will host the three phases of the meeting aimed at members of the Security Forces and Bodies, Military Unit of Emergencies, General Directorate of Traffic, Tax Agency-Customs and other bodies and agencies that use these Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS; Unmanned Aerial System) in the role of their functions.
After the success of the 2018 call, the organizing entities have once again placed their trust in Benidorm, which this year adds the novelty of the performance of demonstration flights, search drills and tests of anti-drone systems in the Heliactive facilities, in the Poniente area.
The academic part will address questions about European regulations and interventions after its entry into force, regulations and protocols to be applied, success stories, forensic analysis of these systems, coordination between manned aircraft and drones and, finally, the news of the RPAS sector (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System), complete system consisting of aircraft, communications link and ground station that operate by remote control.
The air navigation manager in Spain, ENAIRE, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Military Emergency Unit, National Police, Civil Guard, Ertzaintza, Mosssos d'Esquadra and the Emergency Coordinating Center of the Valencian Security Agency provides the bulk of the speakers who complete technical and engineering consultants and companies that follow the European initiative DROMNE-REGIM.
