Benidorm launches the ‘Summer 2021 educational support program’ for Primary Education students
The Education Department of Benidorm City Council has opened the registration period for 'Summer 2021 Educational Support Program', which is aimed at students from first to sixth of Primary Education and which will be held from July 5 to August 27 in the CEIP Ausiàs March.
Applications must be submitted to the Education department, located on the third floor of Benidorm City Hall, until June 23, except for those applications that wish to obtain financial aid to pay for the program, which must be submitted before June 15.
This program is developed with the aim of extending the school year, making summer classes available to families for their children to correct educational deficiencies detected during the course. It is aimed at primary school students who for various reasons have not obtained good results during the school year and who do not have serious behavior problems.
The initial number of places offered is ninety, fifteen places for each of the six primary courses. Classes will be from 9 am to 11 am for 2nd, 4th and 6th grade students, and from 11.30 to 1.30 pm for 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students. The pedagogical activities offered are language, mathematics, English and Valencian, as well as classes with different study techniques to improve student performance.
The general price of the course without reductions will be € 63.79, although there will be different discounts for large families, single parents, foster families, with functional diversity, with more than one participant, etc., as long as they are registered in Benidorm. These aids can be consulted in the Education department, where the application forms are available and where information will be provided on the documentation to present in each case.
