Benidorm launches again the 'Resource guide for employment and training'

Benidorm City Council, through the Departments of Employment and Education, has launched a new edition of the 'Guide to Resources for Employment and Training', a guide of which 500 copies have been published and which has been prepared by the technicians of both councils themselves.

The Resource Guide is subsidized 50% by Alicante Provincial Council through a subsidy from the Department of Economic Development and Productive Sectors in its line 3. The subsidy amounts to 3,109.94 euros for this publication and the 'Improve your employability'.

The publication includes the training offered in Benidorm and the region, both formal training -universities, Vocational Training Cycles, and public and private educational centers-, as well as specific training aimed at employment.

Also included are the existing resources to access this training “such as scholarships, aid, or educational exchange programs.

The Guide also has a directory of public and private resources, and detailed support information for job search, business creation, and for specific groups, such as people with functional diversity,” as explained by the councilors of Employment and Local Promotion and Education, Mónica Gómez and Maite Moreno.

This guide will be distributed to different entities such as Secondary Education Institutes, business or sector associations - for people with disabilities, women, students, etc. - as well as unions, and other institutions related to training and employment and public institutions ( Departments of Social Services, Youth and Education of Benidorm City Council). And, of course, to entities and organizations that request it directly from the Employment and Local Promotion Agency itself, as well as to participants in its programs, both training and access to employment.
