Festes Majors Patronals 2023 already has its official book after its presentation was held last night in an event that took place in the Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council. A venue that was full of attendees to follow in detail the launch of the now imminent major festivals.

Among those attending were the mayor Toni Pérez, the Fiestas councilor, Mariló Cebreros, members of the local corporation, the regional deputy José Ramón González de Zárate, the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz, the senior queens Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera , the president of the clubs Ramón Cano, and representatives of all the entities related to Festes Majors Patronals.

Once again, as is tradition in Benidorm, music and party went hand in hand yesterday. The event was presented by María Pérez Modrego, who detailed the most important and outstanding aspects of the book such as the photographs, sections, graphic design, etc. She highlighted the work of the author of the cover, Pilar Arroyo, who has focused the image on the queens with traditional elements of the Festes. The edition and layout of the copy have been carried out by Miguel Ángel García.
The presenter also revealed the concerts that will take place during the celebrations. Thus, on Saturday there will be a Tribute to Mecano, on Sunday there will be Mojínos Escozíos, Unes Locos de Atar, and Bombai and on Tuesday The Revolution, Dj Calenda, Miss Deep In and they will end with Henry Méndez.

Once the presentation was made, it was time to deliver the 'Llibre' to various personalities and entities such as the mayor, the queens, the Festival councilor, the perpetual president Francisco Llorens, the Queens' Court of Honor, the standard bearer Gregorio Devesa, the members of honor, the president of Associació de Penyes Verge del Sofratge, the maids of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge, the Mariners of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge, the Costalers de Sant Jaume and the ACR la Barqueta.

The same was done with the person who will be this year's crier, María Magdalena Simarro. And finally to authors who have collaborated with the Llibre.

After the delivery of the Llibre, Mayor Toni Pérez spoke, highlighting that “you can already see that there is a desire to party.” The mayor also highlighted the development of "a very attractive musical program" and highlighted the figure of the town crier, "a woman who has done an enormous job to preserve the wealth of this town, such as the 'copletes' (songs)." Toni Pérez considered it “great news” to know who was going to be the crier and expressed her “excitement” to hear her proclamation. After noting that the Commission has prepared “a very complete program of events,” the mayor asked for applause for the mayorals and all those who have contributed to making the Llibre a reality. The event ended with the interpretation of the anthems of Benidorm and the Valencian Community.
