Benidorm to host a workshop in September on Job Searching in the Digital World
The activity will take place at the Central Library on September 10, 15 and 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Employment and Local Promotion Agency of Benidorm City Council has scheduled the workshop ‘Job Searching in the Digital World’ for September. The initiative aims to provide participants with “digital tools and resources to help them improve their employability and expand their opportunities to access the labour market,” said Councillor for Employment Mónica Gómez.
The workshop will take place on September 10, 15 and 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Benidorm Central Library, located at Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España, 3. “Over the course of these three sessions, participants will learn about different resources to help them navigate their job search in the digital environment,” Gómez stated. The programme will cover topics including the creation and improvement of a digital CV, job-search tools, the use of job portals and social media for professional purposes, and the importance of developing a personal brand to improve professional visibility and employment opportunities.
Mónica Gómez highlighted the importance of “job seekers knowing about and being able to use the new tools offered by the digital environment, which are increasingly present in recruitment and selection processes.” The councillor encouraged job seekers “to take part in this training programme,” which is co-funded by Benidorm City Council and the Provincial Council of Alicante through a grant from the Department of Economic Development and Productive Sectors.
