Benidorm gives 956 grants for the purchase of school supplies for the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education

Benidorm City Council has proposed 956 grants for the purchase of school supplies of 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education for the academic year 2016/2017, according to the provisional resolution published today by the mayor and available on the Bulletin Board of the consistory, in the department of Education and administrative extensions. The amount is 60 euros, so the total cost of the granted provisionally amounts to 57,360 euros. In all, 983 families had submitted applications, of which 97.3% -956-have been accepted; a higher percentage than last year with 864 grants, 88 .7%. For different reasons, 27 applications have been denied. To resolve definitively the call, families must provide before November 14, invoices of the purchase of school supplies; a process that can be made at the administrative extensions in the Department of Education and in some of the contributors shops.
