Benidorm enables a public restroom module in Elche Park
Benidorm City Council has enabled a public restroom module in Elche Park, which will be operational “since this Wednesday”, as the Councilor for Urban Space, José Ramón González de Zárate, has advanced. This module includes accessible bathrooms for people with functional diversity, as well as the rest of those installed in Poniente area. In this regard, De Zárate has pointed out that “we currently have four modules of public toilets from the Paseo de Colón to Tamarindos” to serve “the users of the beaches and in this case also of Elche Park”, which during the whole day has a lot of influx both in the areas of children's games and adults.
Like the rest of public baths, those of Elche Park will be open every day of the week from 10 am to 8 pm, after recently it was decided to extend its hours.
All bathrooms are labeled with long-lasting exterior printed vinyl with the city's tourist brand, and are located on the final stretch of Rincón de Loix, on Murcia Street next to the point of accessible beaches, on Paseo de Colón, in Los Fernandos building on Armada Española Avenue, in Vicente Llorca Alós, at the height of Delfín Hotel, in Tamarindos Park and now also in Elche Park.
