Benidorm enables public baths in the new garden area next to Virgen del Sufragio cemetery
Benidorm City Council puts into service tomorrow, February 1, the public baths that have been created in the new garden area located next to the entrance of Virgen del Sufragio cemetery, as reported today the Councilman of Urban Scene, José Ramón González de Zárate. These public baths "are going to give service to users of Poniente beach, to the passers-by of the area of Jaime I and to those who go to the cemetery", thus reinforcing this service that is provided in the entire coastal strip.
These public baths will be open at the same time as the rest of those installed on Levante and Poniente beaches: from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in winter, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. in summer.
De Zárate recalled that "the adaptation of this space next to Virgen del Sufragio cemetery, formerly occupied by a hotel establishment, has been completed with the configuration of a garden area for the enjoyment of citizenship, thus fulfilling the request made by the Neighborhood Council ". In this garden area we have proceeded to plant grass, eight palm trees, rosemary and palmito -'chamaerops'-; ornamental lights have been installed; and drip irrigation has been installed.
Tomorrow, the new public baths located in Tamarindos Park, newly conditioned by the City Council, are also put into operation.
