Benidorm develops a training action in accessible tourism
The Tourism department of Benidorm City Council has developed, for two days, a training action in the Torrejó Municipal Building focused on municipal action for accessible tourism, according to the recommendation contained in the Tourist Accessibility Plan of Benidorm City Council.
Representatives of companies in the tourism sector of hotel accommodation, campsites, tourist housing, transport, guides, travel agencies, and leisure time monitors have participated in the action.
It is part of the general objectives of Benidorm City Council on the need to sensitize and train the tourism sector in collaboration with PREDIF and PREDIF Comunidad Valenciana, having given the training Miguel Carrasco (director of the PREDIF tourism area), Yolanda Ruiz (member of the board of directors PREDIF CV and Vice President of Aspaym Comunidad Valenciana), Leonardo Torres (Head of Leisure and Sports UPAPSA), Sonia Pacheco of ASOCIDE and Javier Albar Herrero, Coordinator of Digital Accessibility, ASPAYM Castilla y León.
The contents of the training will be available on the Virtual Campus of PREDIF, after the completion of the training action. Attendees will receive the pertinent accreditation of attendance and certificate of achievement of the training received at the end of the two sessions.
