57 children under 30 years of age have joined the City Council today with the EMPUJU program, included in the great employment plan

The 57 young people under 30 years of the EMPUJU program have joined Benidorm City Council today where they will work for 12 months in hiring promoted by the City Council itself, which are financed with European funds through LABORA and which are included within the great municipal employment plan.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, welcomed them in the Assembly Hall and congratulated them for having been selected. Pérez has reminded them that it is "a very good job opportunity" and has encouraged them to "take advantage of it." He has indicated that in their respective departments "there will always be someone to help you with whatever you need."
“You are going to work for Benidorm from now on. We are in a complex health and social situation, so be demanding to work well and always attend with a smile ”, he concluded.
In this EMPUJU employment program, the 57 positions demanded by the City Council correspond to 15 occupations, which require different types of qualification ”. Specifically, the offer includes 15 positions for 'Building maintainers' (LABORA registration code 71911012) and another 15 for 'Information assistants' (code 44121011). They are joined by: 2 from 'Graphic and multimedia designers' (code 24841012), 1 from 'Social network managers' (code 26511085), another from 'Sociologist' (code 28211048), 1 from 'Industrial organization engineers' ( code 24311072), and 1 for 'Mechanical Engineers' (code 24331041).
Likewise, 4 architects are required (code 24811013), 1 'Medium Human Resources Technician' (code 26241041), a 'Lawyer / Medium Legal Advisor Technician' (code 25111040), a 'Foreign Trade Technician' (code 35221023), 3 'Technicians in microcomputer systems' (code 38121023), 4 'Computer application programmers' (code 38201017), one 'Accounting technician' (code 34031016) and 6 'Education and free time monitors' (code 37241034).
EMPUJU program is endowed with 1.7 million euros, of which more than 625,000 are contributed by the City Council. The remaining amount, 1.1 million, is financed with resources from the European Social Fund, through LABORA within the framework of the 2014-2020 Operational Program of the Valencian Community.
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, has indicated that “for this government team the best social policy that can be promoted from the City Council is the creation of employment and that is why this type of program has been designed, which is included within the great municipal employment plan ”. She has encouraged the new workers to “make the most of the opportunity to acquire knowledge that will be very useful in your future working life”.
The councilor has specified on the other hand that "in addition to EMPUJU program, the great employment plan promoted by the City Council is complemented by the ECOVID program, aimed at unemployed people of at least 30 years, through which they have also hired for 12 months to 84 people ”.
In total, the head of Employment stressed, “with this great employment plan, made up of ECOVID and EMPUJU programs, 141 unemployed people from Benidorm, of all ages, have been hired for a year to carry out public interest work ”. The great employment plan reaches 3.7 million euros and according to the mayor "through these jobs we are injecting the economy into more than 140 homes in Benidorm."
All the people have been hired through a selection process based on the instructions of the General Directorate of LABORA, carried out by this body and the City Council, in which the unions have also participated.
