The city of Benidorm has condemned today the latest case of gender violence, recorded at dawn last Sunday in Burgos. Members of the municipal corporation, headed by the mayor and the councilor for Equality, Toni Pérez and Paquita Ripoll; municipal workers and neighbors have gathered at the doors of the City Hall to show their rejection of this crime of sexist violence, which raises to eleven the number of women murdered by their partners or former partners so far this year.
The last victim is a 34-year-old woman, who died as a result of the beating given by her former partner in the street. The man has already been imprisoned.
