The mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; and members of the Corporation have accompanied the Association of Alzheimer's Relatives (AFA) of the Marina Baixa, which through its president, Garbiñe Mondragón, has called on the Government of Spain that the care of Alzheimer's and other dementias be considered in a comprehensive and global within the Dependency Law.
The president of AFA has asked the Corporation for its support to raise this claim to the Government of Spain, while asking citizens to maintain their support and help to people suffering from the disease and their families, to whom the coronavirus crisis "has hit harder."
Continuing with the commemoration of World Alzheimer's Day tomorrow, Tuesday, at 6.30 pm, a video forum is planned in the Assembly Hall in which the film 'Vivir dos veces' will be screened. Attendance will be limited to the capacity of the room established based on sanitary guidelines.
