Benidorm commemorates the International Day Against Breast Cancer with the reading of a manifesto and a great human bond

The self-help group for women with breast cancer of La Marina Baixa, Anémona, in collaboration with the department of Social Welfare, continues to hold throughout the week, the International Day Against Breast Cancer, with various activities that are aimed to raise awareness about the disease.

After the celebration last Sunday of the XIV Solidarity March with broad participation, this afternoon Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España was the scene for the reading of a manifesto by the councillor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca.

Previously the president of Anémona, María Botella, and a girl of fifteen years old Alba Hernández Olivo, devoted a few words to the audience.

After that, a great human bond was formed in the square with broad representation from the municipal corporation, headed by the mayor Toni Pérez, ending the act with a release of pink balloons.
