Technicians propose changing the current fast food restaurant located on the plot in a warehouse and toiletes, and creating a garden area of ​​access to the cemetery


The Advisory Council of Urban Scene, has supported the municipal project to clean up the new public space that is in front of the cemetery Virgen del Sufragio, occupied for years by a fast food restaurant. Municipal technicians have presented the details of this project to the members of the Advisory Council Urban Scene, composed of municipal officials, politicians, business representatives and the neighborhood advisory body. A project to change part of the current building of the restaurant in a warehouse and toilets that give service to the cemetery, and are integrated into a landscaped area and free of architectural barriers giving access to the cemetery. The mayor, Toni Pérez, explained that this garden with trees, ornamental plants and benches "will give the cemetery a worthy entrance", and added that "technicians have proposed to reserve part of the plot to a warehouse and public toilets". Pérez said that this project determines how to proceed with the demolition of the establishment. So, once endorsed by the Advisory Council of Urban Scene, it is the only company that owns the establishment assumes the works.
