Students of Aitana school will be in charge of starting the reading of Cervantes's work in l'Hort de Colón
Benidorm commemorates the Day of the Book with the public reading of 'El Quijote'
Benidorm commemorates this Monday, April 23, the Day of the Book with a public and uninterrupted reading of 'Don Quixote' in l'Hort de Colón, an activity organized by the Department of Culture directed by Ana Pellicer and it will be developed from 10.00 at 2:00 p.m. Students of 5th and 6th year of Aitana public school will be responsible for initiating the reading of Miguel de Cervantes's work, and at noon it will be relieved by members of the corporation and Afratex, as well as by all citizens who wish to connect with the most universal work of Spanish literature.
The activities for the Day of the Book will continue on Tuesday, April 24, with a workshop for orientation to family reading, which will take place from 6:00 pm in the Central Library. The workshop, entitled 'Un bosque de cuentos', will be taught by Esperanza Rodríguez.
