Benidorm calls the tests to create a Social Work labour exchange
Benidorm City Council has called for selective tests for the creation of a Social Work employment exchange. The Councilor for Human Resources (HR), Angela Zaragozí, explained that the rules governing this call have been published today in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) and on the Notice Board of the City Council's Electronic Office (https: //sede.benidorm.org/inicio), and that the deadline for submitting applications "is 10 business days", from June 22 to July 6.
The councillor recalled that "the process to create this job bank began before the state of alarm" and that these bases were approved by the Staff Meeting, "adding that this selective process" will allow the City Council to have a professional pool to turn to and temporarily incorporate into the workforce immediately when we have a vacancy. ”
Zaragozí has pointed out that “having this type of professionals is always important, but even more so in a moment of social emergency such as the current one, in which the consequences of the health crisis require an 'extra' effort on the part of the City Councils to attend to all the people who need help or who are going through a vulnerable situation ”.
The councilor has indicated that "the urgency to address these situations and to provide the largest and best human resources to the area of Social Welfare led us a few weeks ago to resort to the Social Worker job exchange in a nearby municipality to cover a medical leave in our staff, since our selection process was awaiting publication. " “Soon we will have our own stock exchange that, obviously, will also be available to all the City Councils that urgently need to fill a vacancy, as have been the interim exchanges of the Local Police and that of Social Welfare administrators who several municipalities in the province have appealed during the state of alarm, "he said.
