The City Council gets an improvement of 30%, which will revert in the facilities
Benidorm awardes the works of the roller skating ring definitively
The Local Government Board has definitively awarded the construction of a roller skating ring next to the facilities of Palau d'Esports l'Illa for an amount of 189,900.57 euros, after the company that obtained the best score in the public tender has the documentation and endorsement required by the City Council.
In addition to the actions contemplated in the project, the City Council will have an improvement of 30% of work and measurement units offered by the company. An improvement that will revert in the own facilities.
In the plenary session of last October the councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, already explained that it is a "necessary" installation due to the demand that exists. In fact, and as he stressed, "more and more people are practicing this sport in our city, as evidenced by the exponential growth experienced both by the municipal skating school and the club."
It is expected that the works of the skating ring will begin in the coming days and that the installation will be operational at the beginning of 2018 with the specific finish so that it can be approved for national competitions. Later on, in a subsequent phase of action, the facilities will be adapted for their international approval.
