Benidorm attends the neighborhood requests

Benidorm City Council continues with weekly meetings with neighborhood groups. Today, the Councilors for Citizen Participation and Public Space, Ana Pellicer and José Ramón González de Zárate, accompanied by the Vice Presidents of the Neighborhood Council, Teresa Garrido and Manuel Sánchez Notario, municipal technicians and the cleaning service concession company (FCC), They have met with the associations of Infante-l'Aigüera and Glorieta Carrasco.

"More and more," said Ana Pellicer, "the neighbors who join these meetings and each time we see that they are more positive because of the interest they raise in each of the associations." Indeed, in the first session the majority of the board of Infante-Aigüera participated and the second, in Glorieta Carrasco, about 30 neighbors and partners who wanted to participate in the debate have joined.

The Infante-Aigüera Association has recognized improvements in aspects such as cleaning or safety and has transmitted to the municipal representatives the need to improve some infrastructure and make changes to the urban scene. At the meeting, the representative of FCC, said that this is one of the neighborhoods that "recycle" in Benidorm because every day the plastic container containers of Plaza del Infante are emptied twice, each with a capacity of 3,800 liters.

Regarding the rest of the neighborhood requests, the result of the meeting, the municipal services "today - Pellicer has announced - are installing bike racks, new banks and wastebaskets" in the upper part of Tomás Ortuño. Other actions will be taking shape soon.

Ana Pellicer has also indicated that regarding the work meeting with the association of the Old Town of the previous week "cobblestones are being repaired and cleaning is being strengthened". Also, in the Garden "as the neighbors asked us, the road cleaning works continue".
