The 'Fancy Dress Party' has once again been faithful to its appointment through the streets of Rincón de Loix, as every year the day after the Festes Majors Patronals end, after two years without a celebration as a result of the pandemic. With the color and the good atmosphere, about 40,000 people, mostly British, have gathered at this great and gigantic costume party, which this year celebrates its silver anniversary and that, once again, has flooded the imagination and humor in this neighborhood of the city.

Although hundreds of tourists dressed in their costumes have been seen throughout the morning in the locals of the area. It was at 4:00 p.m. when the most anticipated moment of the day began; the spectacular parade of floats, accompanied by bands, drums, DJs, dance groups, etc.

The mayor, Toni Pérez, moved there and enjoyed the parade together with the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, the Public Security Councilor, Lorenzo Martínez, and the CNP Commissioner, Ceferino Serrano.

Sixteen floats are the ones that have paraded through Lepanto, Derramador and Gerona streets, raising applause from the attendees along the way. This celebration has already become a reference for British tourists, many of whom already book their holidays for this event. The organizers consider that this year the attendance has been exceeded related to the year 2019.
