About 200 businesses participate in the first 'Black Friday' organized by AICO and supported by the Commerece department

The councillor indicated that this campaign which is an American custom "is taking strength in Spain", and it is considered a "kick off for Christmas shopping," and "offers very succulent discounts". In this regard, the president of AICO, Raúl Parra, indicated that there will be discounts from 20% and may reach up to 50%.

Parra explained that each establishment has set the duration of their 'Black Friday'. So, there are some offer discounts throughout the week, others will do it on Thursday and Friday, and others that start on Friday and continue on Saturday.

The traders president stressed the suitability of this campaign, as it helps to improve sales. Parra stressed that "we will support all campaigns" which help to "generate sales, wealth and employment" and allow "local businesses to compete with malls".

The councillor for Commerce congratulated AICO by its dynamism like Outlet Fair, Halloween campaign or this 'Black Friday', and said that the department will continue to support the association in different campaigns or actions designed to boost local commerce.
