73% of the workers of the City Council vote in favor of the Assessment of Jobs
73% of the employees of the City Council of Benidorm summoned today voted about the Assessment of jobs, (VPT), previously approved in the General Negotiation Table by four of the five trade union centers represented in the Local Administration. In total, 637 workers have exercised their right to vote, including officials and labor, of which 465 have voted in favor of the document, which includes its correlation of points by factor. A total of 171 workers have voted against, while a null vote has been registered.
After its approval in the General Negotiation Table, the VPT was taken to the plenary session by the Human Resources councilor, Jesús Carrobles. During the plenary, the opposition groups imposed a vote in which all public employees whose work was included in the VPT could participate, conditioning their application to majority support for the document.
After today's majority support, which reaffirms what was expressed by the unions in the Negotiating Table, the VPT can now take effect. The previous VPT dates from the year 1995.
