41,857 people are called to the polls this Sunday in Benidorm
A total of 41,857 residents of Benidorm are called this Sunday, April 28, to exercise their right to vote in the General and Regional Elections in any of the 78 tables distributed by the 16 polling stations of the city, which will open their doors to the 09.00 hours In this way, Benidorm wins a polling station in El Murtal school compared to previous elections.
For these elections there is a change of an electoral school. Thus, the old headquarters of Casa de Andalucía, at 33, Maravall street, is once again an electoral school to replace the Administrative Extension of Limones, which was no longer operational at the end of 2017. The return of this school to its traditional location, at the proposal of the City Council, has been approved by the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census. The rest of schools is maintained with respect to the last elections.
The table with the largest number of electors (800 people) is located in Bautista Lledó public school, and that of minor (342 voters), in Leonor Canalejas public school.
Although the Census Office has sent the census cards indicating each citizen where they vote and which is their table, the City Council has enabled an information telephone number for the election day: 96 585 87 78. It is also possible to communicate directly with the Census Office on 901 101 900. In addition, the administrative extension of Colonia Madrid, located at 17, Beniardá Avenue, will also be open during the election day to answer questions and incidents related to the census.
