The Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council hosts the fourth edition of the Business Legal and Tax Forum organized by the Germán Bernácer Economic Debate Forum all day today. This is a meeting aimed at professionals, managers, and businessmen in which experts with national projections address current issues in the business world.

The day was inaugurated by Mayor Toni Pérez and the president of the Forum, José Martín de la Leona. In his speech, he highlighted that the different tables will debate “issues of great relevance for business management, such as corporate conflicts, the right of separation and the distribution of dividends, as well as the use of reinforced majorities as an instrument for decision-making. decisions.” The president of the Forum has also said that he feels “delighted” to be in Benidorm.

The Forum program also discussed remedies for liability for tax and social security debts to company administrators and new trends in corporate law in aspects of sustainability.

For the afternoon session, the problems in the disposal of Productive Units will be analyzed and the day will close with a presentation on compensation in cases of infringement of intellectual property rights.

The objective of the Forum, according to José Martín de la Leona, is to “provide a practical and up-to-date vision that facilitates decision-making in an economic environment that is changing increasingly rapidly.”

For his part, Toni Pérez, who closed the opening ceremony, positioned the Forum as “a reference event for professionals and businessmen” and highlighted that it addresses “issues of importance and current events for attendees.” The mayor has also highlighted the figure of the Alicante economist Germán Bernácer, who in the 20th century “developed important theories of great influence on economic science and was one of those who established the foundations of modern macroeconomics.”

Finally, Pérez encouraged those attending the event, more than 120 people, to “enjoy Benidorm, a city that always welcomes all its visitors very well.”
