Three second prizes of 300 euros reward the photographic creativity of Easter in Benidorm
At noon today, the jury of the first edition of Benidorm 'Holy Week' Photography Contest, organized by the Frax Foundation in collaboration with Benidorm City Council, has declared the first prize void but has awarded three-second prizes to the three best-exposed images.
The jury, formed by the councillors of Culture and Festivals, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Jesús Carrobles, together with the president of the Frax Foundation, Matías Pérez Such; the parish priest of the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna, Juan Antonio González; and the president of the Major Board of Confraternities and Brotherhoods of Holy Week in Benidorm, Estela Canales, has decided, with this measure, to distribute the award.
The award-winning works are 'His wounds have saved us' and 'La Bulla', by María Coleto and 'Lights and shadows, by Reyes Cerda. Each of them will receive 300 euros and an accrediting diploma. The photographic exhibition was inaugurated on June 3 and can be visited until tomorrow, Wednesday 22.
