The pilgrimage of San Isidro walks the garden around the center of Benidorm

At 10:00 am dozens of carts and tractors and hundreds of people have concentrated on Avenida de Bilbao to participate in the traditional Pilgrimage to San Isidro which, like every year, has toured the avenues of Alcoi, Madrid, Severo Ochoa And of the Albir to finish in the Ermita de Sanç.

In the Pilgrimage have participated the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez and the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, as well as other members of the municipal corporation. The queens of the Festes Majors Patronal, Anna Galiana and Àngela Antón were also present; The President of the Commission, Antonio Vicente Fuster; the spokesman of San Isidro Festival Commission, Alvaro Olivar and representatives of the many festive groups in the city.

A group of xirimiters opened the entourage and, behind it, the carts and implements of farm that have circulated by the Walk of Levante before the glance of the thousands of tourists who at that hour enjoyed a morning of beach in Benidorm. At the height of the Benidorm Palace there has been a mandatory stop to resume forces with the 'almorsaret' based on sandwiches of 'tonyina in tomata' or meat and from here, with a jerk, the pilgrims have continued until the Hermitage where celebrated the typical auction of jugs and, like every year, the raffle of the donkey. After the drawings, the attendees have been able to enjoy a spectacular giant paella.
