The parade of humor, gunpowder and the tribute to Mecano, Queen and Bruno Mars, protagonists on the penultimate day of Fiestas

This Tuesday began with the Solemn Mass of Requiem in the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana in honor of the souls of all the deceased in Benidorm. At the end a laurel wreath was offered before the monument to the Fallen at Sea, at Plaza de la Señoría and then the delegation moved to visit the two cemeteries of the city.

Subsequently, as it is tradition at 2:00 p.m., the queens of 2019 Major Patron Festivities, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor, accompanied by the Mayor Toni Pérez and the president of the Comissió, Roberto Carretero put the third and last 'mascletá' , dedicated to the deceased members of the clubs, shot by the company RICASA on Jaime I Avenue and also attended by the Director General of Tourism, Herick Campos and different members of the municipal corporation.

On this occasion there were fifty kilos of gunpowder that made the firm tremble with an apotheosis ending vibrating hundreds of residents and tourists who did not want to miss the occasion and the smell of gunpowder. But the musical 'explosion' will not cease, and will again be a protagonist during this early morning with a great 'mascletá' of colors with pyro-digital effects in which 114 kilos of gunpowder will be fired.

Another of the most anticipated acts by members of the clubs and citizens was the great Parade of Humor. A total of 13 clubs have competed for the five prizes with their shows, criticisms and parodies today. The participating penyas have been: l'Emtabuix 'Vulem Butà', Samaruc 'Beninorbyl', l'Esquirol 'Excavaciones en el Castell 3040', Paparinell 'Boom', l'Espardenya 'Tengo miedo al ', Bavallons' El invierno se acerca ', A tot arreu' Las fiestas por sevillanas y olé ', Perduts al carrer' Y si fuera yo ', Teuladi' Las mil y una obras ', Els coeters' Leventando Benidorm ', El Cranc' Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente (El hombre y la Fiesta) ', Che que fort' El tarot la bola de cristal' and El Melic' La cortes del Faraón '.

Finally to end today at the square of SSMM Los Reyes de España there will be a of musical party, with a Tribute concert to Mecano, Queen and Bruno Mars. The Humor Parade Awards will be presented during the concert.
