Barely 12 hours after the end of the Boombastic Festival, residents and tourists have this large parking area at their disposal
The Mercasa car park is already operational
Mercasa park-and-ride parking cars are already operational for use by residents and tourists, "just 12 hours after the end of Boombastic, the last great festival of the year that is held at the facilities of Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor", as pointed out by the Councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate.
The councillor has indicated that "as in other major festival events, when dismantling the venue, priority has been given to the Mercasa area to put these parking spaces available to the public as soon as possible, necessary to the residents of Colonia Madrid. The dismantling of this section has been complemented with the complete cleaning of the area.
De Zárate recalled that "once the Mercasa space has been released, this coming Wednesday, August 24, the Wednesday municipal market will be set up again at this point, after several weeks of being held in Els Tolls neighbourhood".
