The mayor accompanies the second vice president of the Consell on her visit to Doble Amor Center
The mayor, Toni Pérez, accompanied today the second vice president and councillor of Social Services, Equality and Housing, Susana Camarero, during her visit to the Doble Amor centre, located on the road that bears her name in the Huerta area. Together, and with the help of the centre's management and the president of the entity, José Luis Calvo, they have toured the Double Love facilities, with a special stop at the workshops, where they have learned about the projects that the students are working on focused on right now at Christmas.
Subsequently, Councilor Camarero met with those responsible for Double Love to learn in detail about the centre's lines of action, its project and social scope, as well as its needs. A meeting attended by the councillor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí.
Toni Pérez has highlighted “the interest” of the councillor “in learning first-hand about the work of Double Amor, a historical entity in our region that has fifty male and female students in its occupational centre”; at the same time, he has been convinced that “the Department of Social Services will be at the side of those who need it most at all times, always seeking the best care and attention.”
