The first semifinal of Benidorm Fest held last night has once again been a resounding success both in terms of audience and impact on social networks, as shown by the data known today. Thus, the hashtags #benidormfest and #benidormfest2023 reached 284.1 million and 53.9 million views on TikTok last night. In total, 338 million. On Twitter, the Benidorm event was in first position in the national and global trending topics with 166,204 mentions between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

In the case of the Chinese social network, the views represented almost 20% more than the first edition of last year, specifically 19.8% more. On Twitter, in addition to the impact in Spain (61.5%), the impact registered in Spanish-speaking countries stands out, with almost 20% in Argentina, 6% in Mexico, or 2.6% in the United States.

Continuing with the impact on social networks, it should be noted that more than 90% of those who viewed or commented on them were in the age group between 18 and 34 years old, 52.9% were men, and 47.1% were women.

About the television impact, the Benidorm Fest gala on RTVE reaped a 'share' of 10%, which meant an average of 1,044 million viewers, although the public channel has indicated that more than 3.2 million viewers followed the musical event at some point in its transmission.

About the reproductions of the songs that have already been played or will be played tomorrow in the second semifinal, the impact is also significant. On Spotify, 7,253,579 reproductions of the total of 18 songs that have reached the contest have been reached.
