‘Despierto amándote’ takes the jury's award and ‘Dopamina Crunch’ the public vote
Cava Aragonesa and Linaje de Castilla awarded at TapaFest 2026
The event breaks records with 20 participating establishments and more than 6,000 tapas sold
The 2026 edition of TapaFest presented its awards this afternoon after achieving resounding success with 20 participating establishments and over 6,000 tapas sold, solidifying the event as one of the major gastronomic attractions associated with Benidorm Fest.
The awards ceremony took place at the Cultural Center during a press conference held by the artists who will perform at the final gala of the music competition, the lineup for which was also announced today. Mayor Toni Pérez attended the event, accompanied by members of the city council and the Director General of Tourism, Israel Martínez.
The Jury Prize was awarded to La Cava Aragonesa for its tapa, "Despierto amándote", for its creativity and technique. Regarding the People's Award, decided by a QR code vote, first place went to Linaje de Castilla for their "Dopamina Crunch" tapa, followed by:
La Taberna Andaluza with "Turista" and La Cava Aragonesa with "Despierto Amándote."
Alex Frattini, Vice President of Abreca, congratulated the winning establishments and thanked all the participants for their involvement. He also emphasised the high level of this year's event and its positive impact on the local economy and on Benidorm's image as a leading culinary destination.

Following the draw held this morning and streamed live on RTVE Play, the order of performance for tomorrow's Benidorm Fest final gala is as follows: 1st Mayo, 2nd Kitai, 3rd Asha, 4th Dani J, 5th The Quinquis, 6th Izan Llunas, 7th Mikerl Herzog Jr, 8th María León and Julia Medina, 9th Rosalinda Galán, 10th Kenneth, 11th Miranda! and Bailamamá and 12th Tony Grox and LUCYCALYS.
