Benidorm will hire 58 under 30s as beach informants for 3 months

Benidorm City Council will hire 58 people under 30 years of age for 3 months to provide information and support services on the city's beaches, within the framework of the regional program ‘Eplayas 2021’. The councillor of Beaches and Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, explained that "today we have registered in LABORA the job offer to fill these 58 positions, following the requirements set by the Generalitat Valenciana". Thus, "candidates must be under 30 years of age, have an ESO graduate or equivalent and a B driving license, and be registered as job seekers at LABORA in the occupation of 'information assistant'".
Gómez has reported that it will be Espai LABORA of Benidorm that will carry out a survey among unemployed people in the municipality who meet the requirements, which will later be sent to the City Council.
Initially, the City Council will limit this offer to "people residing in Benidorm" and "following the guidelines set by the Generalitat, priority will be given to those people who have language skills."
The councilor has indicated that "these 58 people will work full-time from June 15 to mid-September helping in the work of information to users of the beaches of Benidorm on the organization and operation of the same, which we remember is based in the 'Safe Beaches' system that we already implemented last summer ”. Thus, “this staff will be in charge of informing, among other issues, of the subdivision of the sandy areas and the occupancy capacity of each plot; of the accesses to the beaches; of the area for walking and of the obligation to use the mask in this area; and of all those questions related to the safety distance and hygienic-sanitary measures ”.
For this program, the City Council has obtained from LABORA a grant of 285,671.88 euros; while the municipal contribution amounts to 90,570.88 euros.
How to enroll in the job
Those people who are already registered in LABORA must access the entity's website: https://puntlabora.gva.es/puntlabora; enter your Servef code and go to the 'Demand' section. Then they must click on 'Self interview', 'Occupations' and add the occupation' Information assistant. Code 44121011 '. At this point, they must enter the category ‘laborer’, duration of ‘3 months’ and attach their Work Life report.
People who are not previously registered in LABORA should go to their LABORA pepartment to formalize the registration.
Registration, in either of its two modalities, must be done in the next few days.
