This Saturday the Square, the Christmas Market and the Christmas Village are inaugurated
Benidorm is ready to welcome Christmas holidays

A few hours to start the last month of the year, Benidorm is already preparing to welcome Christmas, which as in previous years will be felt in various parts of the city. This Saturday, December 2, from 6:00 pm, the Christmas atmosphere will already impregnate the Plaza SSMM Reyes de España, where the Christmas Plaza will be installed until January 7th. In addition on Saturday will open the Christmas Market in Elche Park and the Christmas Village in Gambo Street, the latter organized in collaboration with the Independent Association of Merchants of Benidorm and region (AICO).
The councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, explained that the Christmas Square will have rides and an ice rink. Until school holidays, weekends and holidays will also be installed inflatables, performances featuring children's characters, theater, concerts and dance. From December 22, these activities will be daily.
As a novelty, this year the Magi will install their camp in Benidorm on January 2, in the Christmas square, where every day there will be workshops and where every afternoon the Royal Postman will pass to collect the letters of the youngest.
From this Saturday will be displayed spectacular Christmas dioramas in the hall of City Hall. From a day before and until January 7 you can visit the Santa Claus House on Gambo Street. Between December 1 and 22, Santa Claus will attend the children from Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on weekends from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm, and from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. From December 23 to January 4, Santa Claus will be daily from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm, and from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
As is tradition, La Barqueta Recreational Cultural Association will set up a large nativity scene at its headquarters in Tomás Ortuño street, which can be seen from December 8 to January 7; while in the Exhibition Hall of Casa del Fester will be exhibited from December 11 to January 6 the works presented by students of 5th and 6th grade of Primary and 1st and 2nd of ESO for the Poster Contest of the 2018 Parade of the Three Wise Men.
