Benidorm extends the deadline to request direct aid to the productive fabric linked to the receipt of garbage

Benidorm City Council has extended until December 15 the deadline to request direct aid related to the receipt of garbage and that are aimed at commercial, hotel and tourism establishments or other activities that were affected by the state of alarm or subsequent regulations. The Local Government Board today has approved the extension of the application period for these grants, which can be processed on the Website until 11:59 p.m. on December 15 at : https://sede.benidorm.org/ start".
The mayor has remarked that "these direct aids, like the rest of those promoted by the City Council thinking about the productive fabric of Benidorm, seek to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and maintain economic activity and employment." He also recalled that the City Council has reserved one million euros for this call, in addition to the million that will be allocated to prizes and second prize for all participating establishments in the Christmas Window Dressing Contest.
As stated in the bases, individuals, legal entities and communities of assets that have a regular and permanent establishment for the development of their economic activity can attend this call, which was suspended obligatorily as consequences adopted by the decree of the state of alarm, which regulated the recoverable paid permit or the order to suspend the opening of the tourist accommodation to the public.
To benefit from the aid, which will reach up to 25% of the amount paid in the garbage tax receipt for this year, it is essential to have paid such receipt and to be up to date with the payment of municipal taxes.
By regional regulations, these direct aids are incompatible with those granted by the Generalitat on the occasion of the Covid-19 because that is how the Regional Goverment established aids.
