Benidorm expands the mobile fleet of the Local Police with two 'quads' for beach surveillance

Benidorm Local Police has increased its mobile fleet with the addition of two off-road quads that will provide beach surveillance services during the summer season. The two vehicles have been presented this morning in the Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España, with the presence of the mayor Toni Pérez, and the councilors of Beaches and Citizen Security, Mónica Gómez and Lorenzo Martínez.

The 'quads' have all the necessary equipment to provide the service and have a liquid cooling system, front and rear suspension with five-position preload, mechanical handling and double hydraulic disc brakes. They also have a complete kit of priority elements of lights, sirens and double red 'stop' lights, a front towing hook, stabilizer bar and winch.

They can support a front-load of up to 120 kilos and a rear load of up to 600 kilos.
The mayor of Benidorm has highlighted that with the expansion of the mobile fleet "we provide the best beach surveillance service since both vehicles have all the necessary technical characteristics for a guaranteed service". In this sense, Pérez has stressed that to offer the best service "we provide human resources and make available everything that is necessary so that the beaches and municipal services look with maximum security, guarantees and their maximum splendour".

Pérez has described the summer that is about to arrive as "very special" and that is why he has remarked that "we make an extraordinary effort so that security, cleanliness and guarantees are the maxima because Benidorm is a reference in which many others are they watch".
